History
John Holden Greene designed and erected a house and barn for his own use on a 100 by 184 foot lot on Power Stree which was extended easterly from Hope St about that time. Both the house and barn had brick walls, those of the former veneered with clapboards. Greene later moved, and the Power Street estate was owned, successively, by William Viall and Governor Elisha Dyer.
