History

Named for funder Clark Dalrymple, the boathouse was designed by Martin and Hall, who also did the museum on the other side of the lake. In addition to serving as as a boat launch, this building was a spot to warm up and get hot chocolate during the winter. The boathouse now houses the Parks Department of the City of Providence and meetings of the Roger Williams Park Conservancy.
