History
Harkins Hall is a Gothic building named for Matthew Harkins, the Bishop of Providence when Providence College (PC) was founded in 1917. This brick and limestone structure was originally home to all aspects of the college (classrooms, offices, cafeteria, and gym). Today, it houses many administration offices.
